Early in the design process it was understood that the methods of fabrication would need to be tested in order for Halo to be successful. So a 1/8 portion of the full scale Halo was fabricated and shown to the owner as a proof of concept. The Prototype turned out great, ultimately giving confidence in the ability of executing the fabrication of the full scale Halo.
